Hey all. Just wondering if perhaps there could be a feature that would allow users to send Multiple PQNS? Example, three of your friens send you a messge, instead of typing out your responses one by one, and risking losing track of the conversation, why not have the ability to send responses to all three of yoru friends with out have to hit send three times. I can see this working with a Multiple combobox set-up and multiple edit fields bassed on however many messages you are attempting to respond. Just thought I'd throw this idea out there. What do you guys think?
I like this idea. so, instead of one combo box to reply, there could be one for each QN you've received from a different user, so you wouldn't lose track of your conversations while replying. I'm not sure if this could work, though, and do remember, if you're talking to multiple people on MSN messenger, for example, you have to reply one at a time unless everyone's in the same conversation. I certainly wouldn't be against this idea, though.
aside from a coding issue (about which I know nothing), I think this would lead to mass confusion. as it is it's easy enough to send a quicknote to the wrong person if you've received more than one, can you imagine if you receive three or four pqn's and ensuring that you're replying to the right one in the right box?
also sending multiple qn's symoltaneously would I think have potential to slow down the site signifficantly as the amount of traffic increased.
I see where you are coming from, but it would be complicated especially for someone on a phone (using the site) or a braillenote
in theory, I could see how it seems like a good idea. ultimately, though, I'm completely with Claire. if such a feature were even possible to implament, I think the end result would be confusion/frustration.
I'm the same; sounds like a good idea but would be confusing. :)
I don't think it'd be too confusing, because the user you wanted to pqn would be selected by default
yes, but I could totally see people writing the wrong QN in the wrong edit field.
i actually like this idea and see how it can be useful.
:)
@ocean Dream:
Yes, I agree, but it's their bad if they do that; the same thing happens with PQN's, where somebody's in a rush to send, and instead goes to either the wrong person, or in publics.
yeah, this is true, and I wouldn't be against this idea if it were considered. Just saying that having the user selected by default won't necessarily guarantee that people will send to the right person.
